Heartbreak for the Holidays

Crews from 5 of Appleton's 6 stations responded to extinguish a structure fire in the 3200 block of Canary Street, Appleton. Both halves of the duplex were effected by the blaze, leaving two families in a state of uncertainty just 11 days before Christmas. Fire officials reported that one dog was rescued and all other occupants escaped unharmed. The cause of the fire was yet undetermined.
