Convoy calls for stronger border
The Take Our Border Back Convoy arrived in Drippings Springs, TX on 1/31/24. Organizers and participants gathered late into the evening at Veterans's memorial Park. Speakers cited divine guidance as a main reason for organizing the convoy, in addition to their concerns over illegal migration and general lack of security at the U.S./Mexico border. The event drew approximately 100 people, many local, but some as far away as Virginia and Montana. Local business Slice Street Pizza, having opened just 3 week prior, took orders long after closing time hoping to take advantage of a hungry crowd.
